Working in close cooperation with the Bardiya National Park and local communities, RHERI has developed and implemented several programs that reconcile environmental conservation requirements with the resource needs of communities living along the park's buffer zone. RHERI constructs drinking water and sanitation systems, organizes community health camps, and raises awareness among local communities about environmental protection. The organization plays a crucial role in mediating conflicts of interest between the park and the people, maintaining a collaborative relationship between the two.
